This could be interesting. If they dont prosecute then the operation will be deemed to be a waste of money and harassment. IF they do prosecute it could open up a massive can of worms for the Government - because I cant see the Public being happy that a whistleblower is taken to court whereas the Gun Slinging De Menezes police and possibly Ian Tomlinson's killer have yet to face any charges....as well as the countless Labour MPs who are investigated and then not charged when they have broken the law.

Making an announcement sounds ominous. Maybe they will charge him with loads of copyright issues concerning software licences in his office instead !!
