What a hypocrite Alex Ferguson is. He's been banging on about Benitez playing a weakend team against Blackburn and showing them contempt. However today we see Man U. facing Everton in an F.A Cup semi-final with no Ronaldo, Rooney, or Giggs, What a hypocrite. Not only does it show Everton little respect but it also demeans the F.A. cup.

the "champions" league has wrecked football and this is the result.
He played his reserves and they lost. Serves him right. Something needs to be done because no team can play 3 games a week without the players getting worn out. The amount of energy they require these days during one game is alot more than in the past because the speed and physical demands are much higher.
The Champions League and its qualification league ( Premier League ) are now the only places where you will see the first teams of Man Utd and then only when they need to play them.
As I said the other day - Man Utd without Ronaldo ( and Rooney ) are beatable.
Sad to see that both teams are blaming the pitch for their poor performance. There are Sunday league players who score three or four goals a week on pitches a long way off perfect, and they see million pound players unable to put in a basic performance on an almost perfect pitch. Reminds me of the time Beckham blamed the pitch when he sent a penalty into orbit. Nine other players scored from the same spot after him. He just didnt want to admit he scuffed his shot.
We had two hours of some of the most boring, lazy and unspirited football in the history of the game. The pitch cannot be blamed for all of that.
