to the anonymous gentleman who stopped me on my way to a meeting this morning in Longacre and said he loved and respected this site and was wonderfully kind and supportive as he shook my hand.
Whoever you are/were, I really appreciate the kindness of strangers (which is odd as I don't give a damn about the hatred and loathing of strangers).

This forum is an oasis of tolerance and open thought in a world where too much is going the other way. I am not suprised that many people are now reading this forum and contributing - it is one of the few "safe" places for freedom of speech. Where people can disagree but yet know they wont be ridiculed for what they say.
I find many posts on here very moving. I hope everyone has a wonderful Bank Holiday weekend and the weather is good to you !

Agreed. It's the best forum I visit, because unlike others I belong you feel you have the freedom to post your views without being subject to ridicule for doing so. I totally hated the entire Jade Goody circus (boring boring boring) and could post freely here about how I felt about it. It's good to visit here and find that many people feel exactly the same way about the state of this fair isle.
Visit the Number 10 You Tube site...and look and weep at how completely out of touch the government are.
