Great chance to pull in millions of new listeners only a week or so after launching - Bank Holiday Monday; all those workers with the day off; captive right wing audience; fantastic... so what do they do?

Go off the air for the day.

Such devotion to the listeners.

Wankers.

Two quick points.

Us 'workers' would much prefer to be out and about on a rare bank holiday and if we did want to listen to the radio, it would not be to the time warped, right winged fat one who shouts for a living [and not even on a radio station].

Perhaps the 'wankers' could not forsee much of an audience! Gaunt is well past his sell-by date, as past employers have shown by their actions [getting rid]. His far right leanings are 'old hat'.

New imaginative thinking might help him, if he was capable - instead of bleating on about his past [where there is very little].

It appears that internet radio could provide a brighter future than DAB, which is rapidly becoming obsolete.
I much prefer Gaunty on Sun Talk than his old show, but I'd recommend you all try listening to Play Talk UK, another online station. The boss is JK's former colleague, Tommy Boyd, but don't let that put you off. My favourite show is the one that airs mid-afternoon with Richard J Cartridge (Tommy presents a show starting at 5pm).
They also put a lot of the shows on podcasts if the live broadcast times aren't convenient for you. This station is free from OFCOM regulation. There's bits of swearing, though it's not excessive, and topics are discussed that would appear 'off limits' on mainstream radio.
