ID Cards £12 billion v MP expenses £10 million ? 14 Years, 12 Months ago
Surely the easiest way for our Government to bring back the public on side a bit would be to cancel the ID card scheme ?

The current media storm over a few bathplugs is totally out of sync with the real problems - as was the Swine Flu coverage........

The media is COVERING UP the economic collapse which is deepening by the day with this silly stories.

The High Street is being decimated - factories are closing every day - venues closing - theatres closing - even the cocaine market is taking a hammering !!!

If the media does not start reporting the real news soon we will all be unemployed by the end of the year and living off the IMF. Gordon Brown is spinning like a spider in a web - he may be trapped but he is in overdrive - first SWINE FLU - deaths in UK ZERO....and now EXPENSES - silly but a diversion.

Scrap the ID Cards and put the £12 billion into Woolworths - into buying Jaguar - into new jobs and into propping up firms with interest free loans. That is what the people want.

We need an election sooner rather than later. If you think it is bad now - it is going to get alot worse because labour are doing nothing - just soundbites about what they want to do.......warm words but no action.

I haven't noticed the media not reporting on the economic crisis, BR. They also report of various other stories, including ID cards - as well as the flu bug and MPs expenses. I doubt there is anyone in the UK who does not know about the housing crisis, war in Afghanistan, terror laws, etc.
