With only 3 days to go till the Eurovision I have to say that I don't think Jade will win it for the UK. I have listened to it 4 times now and it doesn't seem even vaguely catchy. She's got a good voice, but there is little melody in the tune and it will probably finish bottom 3. The judging will be different this year with half the votes coming from a panel and half from the public. I still think the Eastern Europeans will dominate yet again with their block voting.

After listening to Jades main rivals a few times today i feel her chances are slim. Her main rivals are Iceland and Malta and both of those songs are streets ahead of AWLs pedestrian jingle which he admits to being knocked up in a two hour lunch break with noted pop writer Diane Warren. "Its My Time" has been turned into a dance mix by Almighty and i think Chiaras effort could be good in that form too. Iceland could have produced a country standard with their entry and must surely have an international hit whether they win or lose.

It is a good voice, but the song is crap, completely forgettable. It's called the Eurovision song contest after all, not the Eurovision singer contest. It sounds like something that would be knocked together for an x-factor winner.
The fact that the voting has changed will not make much difference. Still half the votes come from a panel and half from the public. It should be completely from a panel, like it was in the olden days, otherwise the most popular wins rather than the best, like in Strictly Come Dancing.

Isn't the Eurovision just a bit of camp nonsense? Sounds to me like some take it very seriously. I'll be watching it on Saturday and hope to hear some good songs alongside the usual hillarious rubbish. I don't give a hoot who wins. Does it really matter?
