I am sure he was born chewing gum. Just a word JK...I have to agree with you about Shearer...despite their current state of play against Hull. He's been terrific up to now...despite them currently losing against Hull this afternoon. He told Barton what he thought and gave him the boot, and has taken a courageous step in sidelining Owen for today's game. He's a tough guy and whatever happens, you were right...he is turning the club on its head and would eventually get results. Of that I am convinced.

Sad for Shearer - I still think he's terrific but it looks all over.
