US soldiers raped Iraqi boys whilst in Abu Graihb prison whilst female soldiers filmed and photographed the sordid events.

In the last 2 days Barak Obama has been giving reasons in a speech why he is closing down Gitmo (where the same happened..there were nearly 80 prisoners under the age of 14 there) whilst former VP Dick Cheney has been declaring that all this torture and himiliation of detainees "saved hundreds of thousands of US lives" using the spurious logic that if something didn't happen-it's because you did something else.

But Obama refuses to release the tapes of these rapes..and basically no media outlet could run them as they are officially child pornography..although the producers and participants in these rapes and the filming escape prosecution.

And the producers include those who ordered the torture and filming..Bush ,Cheney and Tony Blair and all politicians who voted for the Iraq War.

Seymour Hersh who has heard the tapes (but not seen them) describes the screams of children as "terrifying".

Slowly more and more details are leaking : detainees in both Gitmo & Abu Graihb were often Iraqi citizens just plucked off th street by US forces and then humiliated as in the inamous photos we have seen-and then told they would set free but if they didn;t become informers for the US these photos would be released which in an Islamic society is the greatest humilation possible.

That is why we saw groups of Iraqi men naked and in a pile with a female US guard in front giving the thumbs up !.

Yet these same guards were prosecuted for a crime which Dick Cheney now says was official policy and sanctioned at the highest level. By implication Tony Blair shares guilt as well as the current PM Gordon Brown.
