TOPIC: For David Icke Fans

For David Icke Fans 14 Years, 11 Months ago
Tickets have gone on sale for his bi-annual 8 hour talk at the Brixton Academy - May 2010.

If you haven't been and are even a little bit interested in what he has to say (I go because he entertains me and because as a human being he is amazingly interesting) It is highly recommended.

from the videos I've watched of Icke, he comes across as likeable and very normal as well as entertaining in his talks.

Somewhere in the depths of the JK message board files I mentioned where he went with a camera to Downing Street to film and got bailed up by 2 cops who demanded to know who he was (despite being surrounded by tourists taking snaps).

Icke described it as just another example of a creeping fascism and government control.

And when others so readily dismiss him..what happens ? A few months ago Nu Labour announce a new law that will make it offence to photograph or film the police !

Isn't David Icke as mad as a march hare. He believes he is the son of God and thinks the royal family are all lizards. A suitable case for treatment!!

If you ignore the torrent of idiocy that comes from Icke and his fans and then substitute it all for something coherent and rational, David a does make a lot of sense.

I actually watched a couple of Icke films a while back, and his technique is to provide you with stuff you probably believe anyway about the corrupt and manipulative nature of government, and when you are least expecting it he will make some huge leap of logic which has no basis in evidence and get you to believe it is all some huge consipracy. However, as he has sucked you in by then it is quite easy to accept these groundless ideas as fact.

I could quote examples of this manipulation, but I can't be bothered lol

I am suspicious as to why he needs to speak for 6 hours, but again I think it has something to do with the fact that he can start off by playing to the crowd with easy to believe stuff. He knows that people's critical faculties will be waning after 6 hours so that will be when he wheels out some of his craziest stuff and people will swallow it without questioning the logic.

And there's the lizard stuff. His fans say the media just use the lizard stuff to ridicule him. That may be so, but Icke himself has said that the Queen is a lizard.... and as a result I cannot bring myself to take him seriously in anything else he says.

I also think that, were he not so silly, he would have a sinister side, setting himself up as some kind of guru.

Yes. Icke does start with some rather obvious points and then comes to very wild conclusions... I don't think his fans notice

David Icke and his Encyclopaedia Dramatica entry :D

"David bases his theories on a bit of truth and a lot of fiction which equals bullshit. However some retarded people believe him because they like the idea of it..."

Isn't that what we said?

All I said was that he was / is entertaining! For that aspect it's enough to pay the money and be entertained for 8 hours!
