BR are you seriously claiming that the BNP is the new party of the working classes?
a party of holocaust deniers?
a party which says that black and asian people, even those of families who have been here for generations be branded ethnic foreigners, and be encouraged to "go home" (where to, if you were born here?)
a party which does not allow black people to join their party?
a party that is openly homophobic?
a party led by a man who has been buddies with a leader of the ku klux klan?
are you aware of what you are saying, BR?
personally I think attacking Griffin with eggs is not the right way to go about things. Instead they should be invited onto Question Time or grilled by the likes of Paxman so that their odious aims can be exposed.
They are trying to give themselves a veneer of respectability by wearing suits and claiming to represent ordinary people- well they don't.
It is shameful that they have won European seats just days after the heroes of D-Day were honoured. Veterans who risked or gave their lives fighting against people like the BNP.

THere's still a working class, just white collar, not blue so much. The biggest change has been the growth of what Marx called the underclass.Masses of people never likely to hold down a reegular job due to bad schooling and lack of opportunities. They turn to drugs/drink and crime as always,we all pay in some ways for their lack of belonging.
With the ease of immigration the underclass don't even get a chance of employment during boom years.Look at the back of any supermarket,or warehouse, and most of the staff are foreign. My friend in Leicestershire works in a warehouse of 600 employees, they've not taken on a British worker since 2004.
While no doubt there is a bigger picture can you really blame people from being angry with the lack of work opportunities? Or the fact social housing is full of immigrants? Nice to help out,but we can't support all these extra souls.
The BNP are on the doorsteps, telling people what they want to here. The other main parties are not.Who is the 18 year old who can't get a job going to vote for?
The main parties, particularly Labour are at fault for this situation, and they'll only act if pressured at the ballot box.

Those of you who mention immigration from Eastern Europe should note the following pasage in the BNP constitution, which only talks about stopping "non-white" immigration. I therefore presume their objection is to someon'e skin colour, and have no issue with those coming from other European countries.
"The British National Party stands for the preservation of the national and ethnic character of the British people and is wholly opposed to any form of racial integration between British and non-European peoples. It is therefore committed to stemming and reversing the tide of non-white immigration …" BNP Constitution
They are opposed to any form of racial integration, including mixed marriages. It seems they want a pure white race. That is alarming.
"Churchill was a f*cking c*nt who led us into a pointless war with other whites [i.e. The Nazis] standing up for their race". Mark Collett, Director of Publicity, BNP.
I can understand why people are concerned with issues surrounding immigration, but if you vote BNP, do some research, be aware of just who you are voting for. They are not some nice party sticking up for workers. No, they have a very different agenda to that.

Just so that anyone who thinks I am "tarring" the UAF as a Labour Organisation unfairly - here is a list of their signatories who are almost all LABOUR MPS.
www.uaf.org.uk/aboutUAF.asp?choice=4
The BNP is lying when they say the UAF is sponsored by the TORIES as well. It is not.
The UAF ( The thugs who have been attacking NICK GRIFFIN ) are an undercover LABOUR organised organisation.
The ANTI NAZI LEAGUE and ROCK AGAINST RACISM have/had wider support bases. In fact they were closely linked to the Socialist Workers Party ( who dislike Labour as much as anyone )
However this new breed of Violent Confrontational politics has the SIGNATORIES of NEW LABOUR on the above page.
Not a single one of them has come out and condemned the violence.
Therefore it seems that NEW LABOUR are willing to use VIOLENCE against POLITICAL OPPONENTS as part of their desperate attempt to hold onto power.
I find the BNP disgusting - but I equally find NEW LABOUR disgusting. They deserve each other.
