Totally agree. But "protest voters" only see a small part of the issues facing the country.

For many having a job and being well off is ALL they want. If that means voting for a party that is racist and stops freedom then for hard cash they are prepared to sell their vote.

When you are poor I suppose the promise of "British jobs for British workers" - which the BNP has as its main policy ( To achieve this they stop immigration and pay for those who have come here from the EU to return home ) means 5 million British workers would then take these jobs. It would at a stroke of a policy end most unemployment.

Yes the British workers would have to take jobs in rural England - cleaning jobs - retail jobs - security jobs and bar work - often low paid - but the jobs would be there.

The BNP would have to cut benefit to make these jobs attractive though - because the benefit system pays double the minimum wage for most people.

But this is where the BNP are winning. Labour ( and the Tories ) have no policies to get the unemployed back to work ( and I include all those who dont show up on the official stats in that ) - about 5 million people dont have work.

I would argue that British Jobs For British Workers is not as you would say the BNP's "main policy" at all, but merely convenient bandwagon to jump on in times of recession. I am not at all sure that is their main concern- I would say there main concern is one they have often expressed (in their constitution for example) i.e. that they are in favour of an all-white Britain, creating a sub-class of "ethnic foreigners".

So there you have it - and that is the populist policy which is driving their vote.

Many people comment on things without reading the websites - facts - about what they are commenting on.

Just because mainstream media has not said these things they dont believe them.

That is why when you check the things that I write on this forum against hard facts you will see that generally I research what I post - so it is at least true from a factual point of view.

But I would encourage everyone to start questioning everything they are told by the BBC and SKY and the Murdoch Empire. We are being told about 5% of what is really happening. The great thing about the internet is that unlike in the old days when you had to go to libraries to research everything - today you can click a mouse and get the info you need direct from the organisations you want to research.

I dont want to advertise the BNP - but seeing as you have asked me to show where I know their policy from then now you have it.

We should all be able to debate their policies in an adult fashion - and argue against them if we dont agree with them. Just branding them as racist thugs ( as Cameron did today at PM QT is actually not helping in my opinion )

Here is a revealing bit on attitudes towards disabled people.

Then they take a large cut of the already low waid, for "living costs" of ten leaving these workers with little more than £2.50 an hour. The accommodation generally comprises of a 4 berth caravan on a travellers site.
