I'm really enjoying the coverage of Glastonbury on bbc3 and bbc4, particularly Lady Gaga, Lilly Allen, and the specials.
As a man over 40, I think that the tv is the best place to watch festivals, in the warmth and comfort of your own home. Festivals should be a rights of passage for young people, not the homage of middle-aged business men who seem to be taking over. If I was a young person today I wouldn't want to be into the same bands as my dad. My dad should be horrified by the bands I like, so please middle-aged people stay away from festivals.

Agree with every single word Robbie.

The third time running I arrived in Glastonbury, got out of the car and sank ankle deep in mud, I took off my shoes, threw them away, took off my socks, threw them away, removed my trousers, rolled them up into a plastic bag and drove all the way back to London in my boxer shorts.

Never been since.

Seemed to be quite a lot of young kids there from what little I saw on tv.

The scale of the place amazes me. Apparently it cost £800,000 just to clear up the tent pegs last time. He probably still makes a packet despite the enormous costs of technical set-up, insurance, security etc.
