One of my favourite films; I adore Hackman and love Will Smith.

Bet this is high on BR's list of great movies!

Watched it with one eye open last night and couldn't help but associate BR with this. Good film spoilt by Tony Scott's 1980's pop video style direction.

On a serious note......I have suffered much like the central character in the film at the hands of the state.

I have had all my belongings taken ( and never returned ) I had cars outside my home for a long time - now replaced by a CCTV camera on a pole outside my front window........

So the film is not far fetched at all. Obviously it has been written from real experiences - hence it is such a tremendous story.

The other film Conspiracy Theory - which you could bundle with this one about the cab driver is also pretty good.

The fact that they have watched me does not really bother me at all - because I have nothing to hide. However, the fact that they took all my belongings and never returned them ( Worth many hundreds of thousands of pounds ) still rankles.

I am sure some of you will say - why dont you get a lawyer and get your stuff back. Well I tried that - and the lawyer gave up....in fact the authorities would not even say where my stuff actually was being kept. So it is very hard to get something back when you dont know where to start looking for it.

If New Labour are shifted from power next year then I will try again to get my things back. But until then it is impossible because I am on their "hit list" and they dont operate within the law as you and i understand it.

The one thing I dont let them do to me is to make me afraid of them. Hence I write openly on here etc. and dont fear them. The truth is too important to keep hidden.

We are living in very dangerous times but as a Christian I truly believe that there is a plan and that love will win this battle. I also believe that everyone who shows love to others will see the truth as well. Whether you are a Christian or Islamic or of no faith - everyone is capable of finding the truth.
