An Open Letter to the MEDIA about their role in MJ's death 14 Years, 10 Months ago
Dear Journos and Reporters of the Media

Again the pressure from you has caused a frail human being to die before their time. A man who has brought so much happiness and so much job to so many people. A man who has created wonderful music. Like Diana before him he was hounded to his death. Broken by false allegations which were amplified by an EVIL media intent on only ratings/sales for being more lurid that the others.

The truth about even celebrities who HAVE committed crime is as follows and yet the media do not report this.

BUSH and BLAIR committed murder of over ONE MILLION - women and children included - in the Middle East. Yes MURDER. Yet not a single MEDIA outlet has harassed them for these decisions - not a single MEDIA outlet has done anything other than treat them with total respect.

How can it be that MASS MURDERERS are "feted" by your MEDIA channels ? How can it be that people who bring JOY to other can be harassed and hounded by your papers and your media.

It is NOT FAIR - it is NOT JUST. I believe very strongly that EVERY JOURNALIST and MEDIA person who rubber stamps this destruction of human beings either by backing MURDERING STATES and THEIR LEADERS or by attacking the STARS/CELEBRITIES and ruining their lives will have to face serious judgement by God.

Not only that I believe that the General Public are not SHEEP who actually approve of this. We all dislike completely the way in which the MEDIA works and hurts people.

It is surely time for the MEDIA to stop hurting people. Michael Jackson was a flawed person - like many of us - he did not deserve to be treated the way he was in the last 25 years since he became the biggest star on the planet.

If we treat the people we claim to love like this as a species it shows that there is no hope for the human race at all.

The media have caused the death of MILLIONS of innocent people around the World by not holding the Governments to account - and they have caused the death of some special people in our lives such as Diana - Michael Jackson by their harassment.

it is time for the media to change. Is there one decent Editor or Journalist out there who will swim against the tide ? Is there one who is capable of showing LOVE through their work ?

Yours faithfully
Concerned of London

In my view the yanks are far more weary of the media and far more sophisticated than many of the British public. The US public don't condemn like we do...they are willing to give people a chance, and they appreciate those with huge talent who give so much, as MJ did.

As I wrote here over the weekend...no American citizen would spill out onto the streets for a Big Brother contestant. Jackson has been entertaining the world from the age of 5. He deserves all of the respect that he has been shown in the last few days.

Look at how Heather Mills publically rode roughsod over Paul McCartney here...she was given a platform and the stupid British public listened.

And as saddened as I am I doubt we will see the same respect for McCartney here when his time comes as has been shown for MJ in the states.

Even Lennon got better and bigger tributes from the yanks then he got from the Brits.

The biggest 'stars' in the UK in 2009...Katie Price, Peter Andre,Jack Tweed and Jade Goody.

..and not forgetting the glorified karaoke 'stars' such as Susan Boyle and Paul Potts.

I take your point and I abhor what the media has become.

But I reckon the amount of drugs he took had a lot to do with his death.

I was born on exactly the same day as MJ so I know the medicine cabinet is our favourite friend. Fortunately I don't think I'm as obsessive as he was!
