Not only is he the best tennis player ever, but also the way he carries himself on and off the court is exemplary. He is always respectfull to the traditions of the game and the past players. He is very humble in victory and sporting in loss. After losing in last years final he has made the very difficult second act and returned to this year's final and will probably win. That second act is even harder, other players like Borg and Sampras packed their bags once their winning run came to an end.

Yes, all agreed, great player, great guy (so, incidentally, is Nadal; his winning speech last year was one of the classiest ever) but I'm rooting for Andy Roddick; he deserves it and Federer will win many more!

Yes, it would be nice to see Roddick win. She should be two sets to nil by now if he hadn't bottled the second tie-break. What were you saying the other day, Roddick doesn't stand a hope in hell?

I don't think any of us expected Federer to play so badly but his 50% game still beats almost everybody.
