Michael Jackson Memorial 14 Years, 10 Months ago
A truly moving and wonderful event.

The message from Michael's life is to LOVE one another and it came across so well from both legends and newcomers and religious and political and sporting people.

I am still so upset that I wont be able to see THIS IS IT in London - it would have been awesome. Very upset for his family as well to lose him at such a young age. I feel very moved after the memorial. It was like being invited into a family event......

Very very moving. I grew up with the Jackson 5 on TV and his music has been the soundtrack to many of our lives.
He was much loved and gave us so many wonderful songs and memories.

I will add this to your post since, you beat me to posting on this topic.

This was a highly emotional occasion, even the most cynical person couldn't fail to be moved by the stories and tributes to Michael. I was moved to tears.

In particular when brother Marlon told of when Michael dressed as an old man and he recognised him, because he was his brother.

Also when daughter Paris claimed that "Michael was the best father in the world". It shows what a close knit family they were and showed what families are all about, loving and caring for one another. The show left me in tears and that doesn't happen very easily.
