Due to stress I've been on the sick for the last few months,and now have been horrified to find out that an organisation dominated by soldiers who have been guilty of war crimes abroad is helping me to get back to work.

Royal British Legion Industries in association with Jobcentreplus have sent me a letter stating I have to go to one of their interviews,or face loosing the very meagre benefit they pay me.

Why have an organisation that represents service personel got to get involved? As a pacifist I really do feel this is innapropriate.I have no objection to go along with any government department,but not with people associated with all the death and destrustion associated with the armed forces.

Nothing personal against soldiers,my father is a D-Day veteran,but there is a time and a place for everything.

Only yesterday we saw that a lecturer and a teacher accidentally had their doors busted down and armed police grab them.

It has happened to Harry Rednapp - it has happened to me.

In fact - as far as I can see those of us who are pacifists and speak out on the internet or in print have generally had the "FORCES" at our door.

I suggest you look at the disclosure threads etc and start to piece together what is really happening out there.

I dont know your background - but could you be considered a "threat" to national security because of your views. Remember just being a devout muslim or christian or being an outspoken lecturer or teacher is enough to get arrested for "any old trumped up charge"

It is noticable that the schoolkids in Mansfield did not seem to be upset - and also they said their TEACHER was a nice bloke etc etc.

Not so much privatisation, more a series of partnerships with private companies, but it all boils down to the same thing. It's certainly heading that way.

There has been private employment agencies for a few decades now, but I think it's only recently that they've begun to work with the governmenmt Job Centres to try get people back to work.

Well after two stroppy calls I eventually got a call back from a senior manageress.She was perfectly mannered,and has now arranged an appointment with a different company.
Do wonder if it would have been the same case without me having pushed for it.
