Sad news that the poor Science Teacher who "lost it" is remanded on attempted murder within days of the incident.

IAN TOMLINSON;s POLICE KILLER is still at large months after the event and with hard evidence from CCTV and a Coroners report. Nothing has happened to this real scum.

This has to be wrong. It cant be a criminal offence for one person and not another.

The AGE OF CONSENT needs to be the same for everyone and why just TEACHERS ? Doctors - Nurses - Care Workers - Social Workers - Police - MPs are all in positions of trust but this UNFAIR law does not apply to them.

I would say to ANY TEACHER reading this - go back to your staff room and start a REVOLUTION. You are in danger of being locked up. The POLICE and GOVERNMENT are identifying the "intelligentsia" in the UK and locking up those who they perceive as a threat and taking "them out" with unfair laws which discriminate.

Can you imagine if they passed a law that said ISLAMIC MULLAHS would be arrested for breaching trust if they had sex with people who were 17 or 18 ......they would demand to be treated the same. They would shout UNFAIR and quite rightly.

Our justice system is now UNFAIR on TEACHERS - and I would hope that everyone on here with a sense of justice would agree.

Teachers who sleep with sixth formers should be disciplined and probably sacked. It is a disciplinary matter - not a legal matter.

I cant remember when we all said we wanted the AGE OF CONSENT to go to 19 years old or higher for certain parts of society.

I disagree with Sex outside a loving relationship - and I would expect most of these would not be that - but to criminalise one part of society is dangerous and wrong.
