Teachers - their lives are ruined, guilty unless they can prove innocence... at last MPs are realising what is going on out there.

and not just teachers ...

A number of MPs realised it a few years ago, following the Home Affairs Select Committee investigation, but the government ignored the findings, blocked it from being a major news story and introduced new laws to make it even easier to convict without evidence.

This news is very old, and I dare say that after this week it'll be a long time before it is permitted to be mentioned again. Just as with the "This may only be the tip of the iceburg" stories in the media the day a man had his conviction for child abuse overturned and not mentioned again from the day after.

This country doesnt have the stomach for anything other than a very brief acknowledgement of one of the most severe flaws in our system. Nothing will be done to right the wrongs.

I agree sadly JC; Claire Curtis Thomas remains an ally despite pressure on her to abandon the cause.

Why? Is it because both politicians and media think the public is too stupid to cope with the truth? Do they feel most of the public don't care about injustice?

If so, they may be right.

Until it happens to you...

The proof that it is happening to many teachers etc. is that the number of males entering teaching is at an all time low.

Only 1 in 8 teachers in Primary Schools are now males and in many schools ALL teachers are female. Every year than ratio goes up as the "False Allegations Business" gets bigger and bigger.

You can see those on benefits continually trying to exploit this system for financial gain. Make an allegation ( KERCHING ! ) Prove It ( Not necessary ) Just make it and apply for compensation at the same time !!! This is a ludicrous system - and a terrible loophole in the Justice System.

I would imagine nearly every male teacher has been the subject of a schoolgirl/boy crush ( and many female teachers ) these days the mentally unstable kids know they can threaten these teachers with "allegations" and ruin their career.

e.g

" Mr Policeman - the nasty male / female teacher touched me innapropriately after school last week.....in his/her car which is black and has registration number XXX XXX ( as seen in car park )......:"

" Young Victim all you need to do is give a description of the teacher. Was anyone else there ? "

" No - it is a secret between me and the nasty teacher"

" Go straight to court then young victim and cash in on your allegation - you need no proof because you have said it is a "Secret" and that special word unlocks the state treasury for you "

" Thank you Mr Policeman "

" No problem. I will now go and arrest the teacher and we will try and take them to court. It is just their evil word against your sweet innocent child word. They wont have any evidence to prove their innocence so we have a good chance of winning so the CPS will approve our case "

" Wow. That is fantastic. I am now off to ARGOS to look for some amazing jewellry and ipods to buy when I get my £32,000 from the state. That is awesome"

" Thank you Young Victim. You have helped clean up this town and rid it of a dangerous paedophile teacher. Thank you. "

This is what is happening all over the UK. No wonder the feral kids of the UK are like they are.

I always believe that the truth will out..maybe sooner, maybe later but there does come a time when falsehoods are exposed.

Sadly -will it happen in our lifetime ? When a wall of prejudice and lies starts to slightly crumble it does begin to fall at a faster rate.

This subject is very close to my heart. About 2 years ago I ran into an acquaintance I hadn't seen for decades. He was a school teacher in Shropshire -a lovely gentle sort of man who I knew was extremely popular with pupils. One of those rare teachers where the kids really look forward to his classes-he made them interesting and fun. And he was gay.

I've been running into him in my local library-he sits there day after day researching his families Russian ancestry..almost obsessive like.

I thought he'd just got old and jaded but then 6 months ago a mutual friend told me the tale. He was the victim of a false allegation. He was never charged..the police acted fairly slowly but cleared him of any illegal activity.

It destroyed him completely. In 30 years he has never recovered. He emigrated to Australia hoping a new land would bring him a new life. He got a job at a top private school. He was popular. But he found himself haunted by the past. He wouldn't be alone with a student. Then he got paranoid..he began to think he may be set up..if he was with 2 students maybe they would conspire to set him up.

It was all in his mind but that one dreadful false allegation has destroyed this gentle man. He's lived on a disability pension for 10 years-had 2 breakdowns-he won't go near a school-if he is in a building or a park where there are children he leaves.

It's heartbreaking now that I know his story. I'd never let him know that I know. And once a week or fortnight I see this poor soul seeking into the past-to find another history for himself, in a country, Russia which he has never been to.

His face lights up when he calls me over to show a village he has tracked down on the net in some far flung corner of Russia where he's discovered family members once lived. And you know he just wants to re-write his life and be back in that village in another time-safe form his past.

Nice to see Michael Mulpurgo taking a stand on the news today. He says he will not be visiting any schools after October if the government make all visiting writers sign to a database. He claims it's a step too far because it assumes guilt, asks people to prove a negative and shows no trust. He's been visiting schools for many years to give talks and has always been escorted by staff. The children are never in his charge.

I agree with him that all relationships must be built on trust. There is no trust at any level of society these days. Maybe this is the real reason why we seem to have a "broken society". It's the idiot politicians who have broken it.

Veritas - that was one of the most moving stories I have read on here. My heart goes out to that poor man for what he has suffered.

I admire how JK has fought back over his false allegations. But your story shows how those who are dedicated teachers or work with children and love their job feel doubly betrayed. They have given their life once to help children - and then find that one bad child and the system can reward them by kicking them in the teeth to the point where they see their job as tainted by this poison which has crept into our society.

I repeat again my theory which I have been collecting evidence for for the last 10 years. The ELITE in the UK ( Judges - Lawyers - MPs - Lords ) and USA - traffic young children and orphans and those stolen by the secret family courts for their own sexual gratification. This is organised child abuse. That is also why we see the "state" putting out Grooming leaflets about sexual pleasure - so that these children who have no parental influence read these leaflets and think it normal to be trafficked and feel sexual pleasure with these strangers.

I have hard evidence about this and have seen it happening first hand. But I am obviously not going to publish it.

Today the MET POLICE were found guilty in a report about BABY P. I would go further to say their negligence was actually intentional because these parents were involved in the activities that I mention above. They were OUTSIDE the law. This is the cover up that ED BALLS has had to do - to protect others in Government and the fall person was the poor Head of Harringay Social Services. How she could be responsible for the POLICE and NHS is beyond me - but they needed someone to blame. But now the truth starts to trickle out.

Social Workers are GENERALLY GREAT PEOPLE - dont forget that. They are much maligned. It is those in the ELITE who are doing the abuse and using their power to blame others when it all goes wrong.

It is terrible that teachers have to face having their lives ruined on a daily basis. Most teachers are very innocent of all of this because they are driven by a desire to help and make a difference. Kids are wonderful to work with as the adverts for teaching show - BUT it only takes one feral child with emotional problems in a school of 1000 to create carnage by accusing teacher after teacher of abuse - if they are clever it is even more difficult to deal with these things. They are learning from TV programmes about how to do this - and they know the financial rewards are good. It also brings lots of attention - and we all knew several attention seekers in every year when we were in school.

So to finish I hope this teacher finds some peace and enjoys his research. He is one of the good people on this planet and God will not let him down.

Generally speaking, people always believe the child accuser because of the mistaken belief that all children are so sexually innocent that they could never dream up such an accusation, so it must be true, even if there's no evidence to support it. So the accused is released without charge, which doesn't stop some people saying: "Well, there's no smoke without fire." My heart goes out to that ex-teacher because of what he's had to endure.
