TOPIC: bye for now
#47303
bye for now 14 Years, 9 Months ago
I've decided to leave this board for a while, as it's being increasingly dominated by one poster.

yes, I know I don't have to read them, but when almost half the topics on the first page of the forum were started by the person, and you when you go to other threads you find them ranting there too.... you just can't get away from them.

I love this board, but will go and get a life and return in a few months lol

don't go.

I'm sure if you ask politely the poster will ease of. I detect a passionate person who just wants to get their message across.

Mind you-I can waffle with the best of them but why don't you start some interesting threads instead to get us yapping ?

I find JK's site one of the more fascinating but I try and spread my posting horrors around so everyone can feel the pain.

stay-we need you.

Things do change, and yes change can be annoying if you feel it has detracted something.
BR does tend to post in waves, when questioned about it before he did cut down, but when something is bursting to get out,it will find a way.

Tolerance is a virtue, and the only one affected by this 'leaving' is yourself. The rest of us will stay glued to one of the best boards on the net.Don't you want to stay a part of that?

JK does have a healthy habit of letting people say what they believe, even if it offends some others here,it's called democracy, hence you'll hear views here not available elsewhere.Just ignore any posts that don't hold any interest, whoever they are by,what I do,but I tend to go by subject matter, not author.

Re:bye for now 14 Years, 9 Months ago
In June I did not post for 10 days when I was on holiday.......funny how no one has mentioned that.

I am posting what I agreed the max of two new threads a day - which is hardly alot ? If that is too many then I despair.

I can see that some people would like to shut me up - not because I post too much but because they disagree with what I post

As was said before IGNORE the two threads a day that I start and read all the others if you dont like what I post - is that hard ? difficult ?

In most weeks I only post around 10 new threads a week max. In fact I have looked at the last two months and it is less than that - probably less than 20 a month.

I made an agreement not to do more than 14 a week ( 2 a day ) and I have kept well within that ? everyone agreed back then that this level was acceptable.

If now that is not acceptable then I can only wonder why you did not say so at the time ?

I find that there is now creeping into society a lack of tolerance. If we dont like someone else's view then we throw our toys out of the pram.

Sorry David you sound like the boy who takes his ball home from playing football with his friends because his team are losing 7 - 0. I hope you stay but I can assure you that there are THOUSANDS reading our threads on this board because they are a) interested in what JK says and mildly interested in what the rest of us say because this forum allows free speech.

Actually, BR, you've started 3 threads today, and you started 4 threads on 14th, but yes in general you have cut down a bit on your previous ramblings.

Of course, none of us are forced to read your posts, or to respond.

I can see David's point BR; less is more; less is more!

We're all going to be a long time dead,so let's hope we can at least try to use the short time available to us to enjoy what little time we have left on the earth;)

Re:bye for now 14 Years, 9 Months ago
When they are posted is not necessarily when I post them.

I work late - so my day finishes when I go to bed. Which means 2 a day means my day. I have not done more than 14 a week.

I try not to post on every thread I might add. I only post on threads that I am interested in.

Therefore you will find that with between 14 posts a week I am actually not as prolific as you think. On other people's threads I would say I post less than 7 times a week. On threads I start I answer others.

Therefore as you have pointed out I have cut down greatly on what I used to post on here

Debate is good. That is what a YOUR VIEWS discussion is for surely ?

Aha ! I have to disagree with you there innocent accused.

with my beliefs I think we will be back on this plane time after time .And that's why it's important to be mindful of your actions.

I've always believed in things like karma and spiritualism since I was very young. Mainly because my mother did also. Many people thought she was a spooky old witch.

If I look back over my life I find all the people that have done me wrong when I didn't deserve it have all come to grief after time-never through my actions as I leave it to the universe to sort these things out.

These chat boards really are an amazing thing-they've opened up the world for all.

But I've found when one person goes overboard it can cause dissension. Personally I enjoy BR's tips and clues about the NWO!
