I'm delighted for Tom Daley- he seems like such a decent kid.
He's had such a tough time since the Olympics- I thought his partner, Blake Aldridge, behaved appallingly during their fall-out, and he's had to endure severe bullying from clearly jealous children that has forced him to chance schools.
I'm not gay, but if we're talking about good gay ambassadors in sport, I'd like to nominate the excellent rugby referee Nigel Owens. He's one of the best referees and he came out about 18 months ago.
He says he gets absolutely no hassle from the players or fans, and can walk into a dressing room and the players carry on changing perfectly normally.

Don't be silly - he's 15; you cannot have any sexual feelings at 15; it's below the age of consent and you can get 7 years for even considering such a thing.
Actually, being serious, and how could such a situation be anything but absurd, Veritas was talking about another openly gay swimmer.
