good grief I've never seen a school photo with the entire school !

was it a hot bed of sin and vice ?..all those underaged lads ?

my father sent my 2 older brothers to a Lancing but pronounced they came out as stupid as they were when they went in so he wasn't wasting any more money.. I had to do with a government school..I think I had far more fun though.

I've met loads of ex-Lancing lads for some reason including my best friend who sadly died in a car accident a few years ago. Kit Lambert who managed The Who..he says he hated every moment of it but I think he was probably one of those lonely kids. there are a lot of geeks there

but I think I finally cracked it but others can find for themselves. Would've helped if you had worn one of those fright wigs.

Actually it's quite interesting studying the faces and not one has eyes closed. There is one in the front row with his eyes rolling back..perhaps he was dead and being propped up.

I remember having a school photo taken like this using an old fashioned camera on a clockwork pedistal that would slowly capture the photo in a 180 degree sweeping motion. I've heard of pupils at the end of the line managing to appear twice in the picture as they made a dash to the other end before the camera finished the circuit.

I had the opportunity of a public school education (I was up for a bursery type thing at age 11 due to my educational achievements) but my ******* father put paid to that, saying that he wanted me in the state system and that was the end of it. How many of the 'bright young things' around you JK have you kept in touch with? More interestingly was there maybe just one who conspired later to bring about your woes....i wont say downfall, because you arent fallen.

You've had a very interesting life journey sir.

I don't think even the police and CPS would dare go back in time 50 years to that era - and especially not to boarding schools, which were attended by most masturbating judges, FC, so no, none of my false accusers were Carthusians!

I had a brilliant time there - all will be revealed in the autobiography, hopefully due this Christmas!
