Rupert Everett's words on Michael Jackson in The Mail are pretty spot on I think and he was being fairly kind. But isn't it amazing how they make a headline out of something he didn't actually say ? (accompanied by a suitably sneering pic)

this bit's amazing :

"I would have leapt at the chance of sleeping with Michael Jackson when I was 14,’ he joked."

If you haven't read his autobiography 'Red Carpets & Other Banana Skins' you should..he's a terrific writer and at least admits what an insufferable snob he was when young.

And I'm sure he would have slept with Jackson at 14 but (as he admits in his book)..Jackson would have had to pay !

However to paraphrase Oscar Wilde..poor Rupert wasn't pretty enough..he's one of those lucky blokes who just looks better the older he gets.
