If you watch the BBC news you will see that in Mumbai the tide is 5 metres above normal. In the USA the east coats is having tides up to 2 foot above normal.

The tides are governed by the moon ? and of course if another "body" interferes with the pull of the moon then it could change tidal patterns.

So anything new in the sky recently ?
