Google about to be battled by Yahoo and Microsoft 14 Years, 9 Months ago

I always thought the Yahoo search facility was awful and became a huge Google fan back in the 90s (I was one of the first; I remember telling my brother about it).

I also think the You Tube search facility is fabulous.

What is it that makes some so brilliant whilst the majority are awful?

The only missing search facility is a really simple archive one (going back decades).

Yes Google is sooo much better than the others (your name JK certainly comes up many more times!)..

But isn't there a service that does capture old pages ?
