We have our media pretending that the CRISIS is over.

HOUSING IS UP - but it is not. IT is 48% down in June 2009 on June 2008. Incredible drop.

CAR SCRAPPAGE SALES UP - but it is not. Car makers have just announced massive losses for the first part of 2009.

CREDIT IS UP - actually this is true but less than 10% of how much it was up in June 2008.

SAVING DOWN - over £2.2 billion was withdrawn from savings accounts in June. This is to cover bills and unemployment for many people.

We are entering the next difficult phase of this Recession.

BROWN has pumped in money ( As has Obama etc ) but the hard truth is the BLACK HOLE within World Finance dwarfs this money by 1000 - 1. Therefore it is like putting a sticking plaster on a broken leg. The only thing we can do is hope and pray.

The smart money is on shares beginning to collapse from the end of August ( 22 ) and then larger collapses in bonds - derivatives markets - dollar markets - at the end of September - leading to a global crisis and crash at the end of October.

This is basically what started happening last year but BROWN saved the World. The problem being that he only did it temporarily. This is why he is not that bothered by a forthcoming election because it is not a really important thing. The World economy will be in ruins by then.

The rush towards ID cards and so on - has been in order to prepare for the likely protests and food rationing this set of circumstances will create. Otherwise why bother with all this CCTV and ID stuff and legislation.......is our Government really fascist ? or is it taking steps to get ready for such a crisis ? Well we wont know til we get there.

The HALF PAST HUMAN report believes the world will be in chaos next year and is well worth reading. ( See other thread) it offers an extreme version because it is based on research. But the general ideas seem sound.

Last summer I told you all to get your money out of stocks - if you had done that you would have saved losing half your investments. The current small rise will soon retreat so I would wait at least 2 years before getting back into those markets ( if they survive the next 2 years )

This summer I suggest you get a food store - water store - and some way of generating your own power in case of power cuts. This could be necessary if things go wrong either by economic crash or swine flu. it is a sensible thing to do. Shops like ARGOS and MAPLIN stock alot of stuff which is good for a few weeks "Off grid"

So why is the media talking up the economy ? It seems that they have given up ever just presenting the truth and letting us decide.
