earlier to my post about a radio show in Australia where the 2 presenters had a weekly item where they would hook up a kid to a lie detector machine and the mum would ask questions..

I heard it once about 6 weeks ago and thought it was pretty weird at the time..like getting to kids to confess to drinking alcohol or skipping school...bound to end in tears.

Then came the blow-up..a 14 year old girl says she had been raped when she was 12.

Cue-major media fallout with the 2 presenters first trying to defend themselves and then actually saying things like "some of my best friends having been raped etc"

And today they are off air indefinitely..unlikely to come back from this disaster and Kyle Sandilands-obnoxious at the best of times which he uses as a gimmick looks like being booted from Aust. Got Talent where he takes the Simon Cowell role..I mean who is going to listen to this guy criticising kids on stage after this ? (and he made Cowell look like Prince Charming...with the rumour being Cowell has ordered Sandilands to be fired)

But there is life in this yet-police investigating the rape claim and all sorts of dramas..where the hell where the child protection unit all the time when these lids were being grilled for entertainment and so on..policiticians asking questions in Parliament..heads will roll everywhere.

The radio network AusStereo is in major trouble -shares dropping, advertisers fleeing etc and low and behold- major stakeholder just happens to be one ..R.Murdoch !

sometime I get it wrong..( I've never claimed to be always right-just perfect)it was Australian Idol that Sandilands was a judge and yes-orders have come through from Simon Fuller..sacked!

Fuller is apparently "absolutely appaled" !!

word is that Ugly Phil will replace him..and Phil is very very witty..weird isn't it how life works out..Ugly Phil returns from the UK and lasts a few months to be fired for Sandilands (who also gets his wife)-a non talent-and now looks like taking back all his jobs.

This is poor Rupert M's karma coming back to bite him for trying to profit out of kiddie sex and the hapless little Alfie.

This seems a bit weird. Was the girl asked if she had been raped? If not, what made her come out with such a statement. If it was hypnosis I could understand the fuss, but unless she was responding to a direct question about that issue, she must have wanted to say it.

Very odd idea for a radio show anyway. The very least I would expect of such a feature would be that it was recorded and able to be edited before broadcast. I assume it wasn't. Not really sure why anyone would think child protection was needed if the kids were there with their parents. That's just an after the event reaction.

So, the girl wasn't actually harmed in the making of the show, so far as I can see. If she was raped two years earlier then that's when the harm took place, and I don't think we can blame the radio people for that.

Overall, it was a stupid idea, but it's not radio's first and it won't be it's last.

and don't you think all these questions are now being asked ?..especially the 7 second delay bit.

Why on earth would you put our a program where the unexpected may happen with a 14 year old wired up to a lie detector being grilled by their Mum ...Blind Freddie could tell you this was a possible disaster in the making.

There is the totally tasteless aspect of taking advantage of down and out parents as well who needed some cash.

I'm actually feeling rather sorry for Sandliands now-he's completely destroyed a huge money making career within the space of a minute but when you set out to shock and outrage you need to tread warily. Especially where kids are involved.

But this is going to have reverberations all round..authorities banging on about the internet and possible child porn meanwhile a radio show is wiring up kids to grill them about their sex life.

Tasteless. Now the UK Idol production people have freaked out completely with advertisers threatening to pull out and demanding background checks on presenters and so on.

It's a small glimpse into a world that commercializes and sexualizes children-profits off them and then comes down like a ton of bricks against anyone who transgresses against children whether guilty or not.

And Sandilands wasn't ever backwards in banging on about 'perves'.

World has gone completely crazy.

Surely, that in itself should be enough to close down a radio station ?

The double standards from the ruling classes are breathtaking.

Kids are sex objects for the very rich and powerful. This is the truth about Western Society - and the reason they fan the FALSE ALLEGATIONS flames to hide what they are doing.

I once again suggest you read THE BIGGEST SECRET by David Icke which has a chapter on the organised child abuse rings run out of the WHITE HOUSE and the HOUSE OF LORDS/ROYAL FAMILY. Maybe you "cant believe it" but I suggest you read the evidence and then decide for yourself. Just dont go into print about it at all unless you want to be chased by the POLICE for year after year.
