on again at 6.30 tonight, a pleasure like a warm red wine that makes you giggle. Some of its best players are sadly gone- Kenneth Williams and lately Clement Freud, but some of the new "faces" are great- I would not do without Paul Merton and his flights of fancy, and Sue Perkins is such a laugh.

I do like I'm Sorry I haven't a clue although I am still missing Humph - no-one can really replace his feigned 'I wish I wasn't here' demeanour.
Just a Minute is brilliant as well and, thanks to the great performers who are on it at the moment, hasn't really suffered from the loss of the originals such as Freud, Williams etc. Nicholas Parsons seems like he will go on forever despite being 86!

Ah, Sue Perkins. Were she straight {and I wasn't already married!} there's a suit I'd press. There's something about an intelligent, witty woman I find irresistable!

Birth year given as 1923 on imdb and Wiki - it used to always be 1928 strangely. I think he is coy about letting his age be known, particularly as he works for the BBC
