I've never liked the idea of special glasses to watch films and I won't do it... am I just a silly old fart?

possibly..I love 3D and was mad about the really dodgy film Warhol made in 3D-Dracula where German actor Udo Keir kept saying "I can't find ze blood of a wirgin ".

I love IMAX as well..not those silly sking films and such but the Rolling Stone's concert on Imax is mind-blowing.

The novelty of Imax soon wears thin and the content of the film becomes all important. I saw My bloody Valentine in 3d. The 32 was good but the actual film was run of the mill. When we get bored of this 3d phenenomen, the content of the film will become all important.

Saw "Coraline" in 3D and loved it even though the movie didnt need it. Avater does not appeal at all im afraid. Cameron should be pleased with it though as it didnt involve working with actors or UK film crews.Check out the extras on the Aliens DVD for more details. His missus is Gayle Ann Hurd who judging by her interviews on the DVDs seem to be the power behind the throne. Definitely wouldnt like to work for her.
