Brilliant and Sarah Lancashire is fantastic as Nelly.

A really classy production; if you missed it catch it on the ITV equivalent of iPlayer before tomorrow night's conclusion.

I'd forgotten how wonderful Cathy's declaration of love for Heathcliff was. Superb writing.

I deliberately avoided it.Seems I might have been foolish to do so. Cliff Richard's Heathcliff was utterly diabolical and I was unfortunate enough to see it. It put me off Wuthering Heights for life.

As it happens the young Heathcliff looked just like Dave Davies of The Kinks.

He was superb. I heartily recommend using your ITV player.

I must reread the wonderful novel.
