Recession Over : Get Champagne out OFFICIAL 14 Years, 7 Months ago
news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/8246846.stm

The BBC declared on their website within a few minutes that the FTSE had hit 5,000.

This means according to the BBC that the recession is over and the recovery is here.

This allows a full 8 months for BROWN to enjoy a boom before he is re-elected in June next year ( or even in a shotgun election before then )

This last week despite falling consumer buying in August - increasing unemployment - loads of big companies going under - and the UK debt rising higher than expected - the BBC and their close cousins at THE GUARDIAN and EXPRESS have been running RECOVERY stories in the face of all the economic indicators. All the stories have been based on "confidence surveys"

This is amazing news and I have cancelled my bunker and I am about to go out and borrow £50,000 with which to get a new car - TV - foreign holiday and a few cases of champagne. I am also expecting everyone I know to get a job next week.

The FTSE is also going to go up and up and away. The TREASURY is making sure of that by pumping in loads of money ( Quantitive Easing ) into the FTSE every day and into bonds. Notice how their own companies ( RBS and LLOYDS are doing so well despite being hugely in debt !!! )

The BBC Is RIGHT on this. They have now called the recovery. If they are wrong then I will lose EVERYTHING and be in MASSIVE DEBT - so lets hope they are telling the truth today.

Enjoy your HIGH SPENDING weekend everyone - get out and spend all the money - if you have none get down your bank tomorrow and get that LOAN - there is a recovery and loads of money is sloshing around that is looking for a home.

Fantastic. Forget the big debts. The recovery is HERE - so lets PARTY !!!!

The recovery may be short - having re-read the article. So enjoy it while you can. At the most it will last until next summer when we have to start paying back the £ TRILLIONS that BROWN has borrowed to allow us to say that we are in recovery.

Like all spending on the never never - eventually you have to pay it all back.

So this is the BOOM before the second crash and recession. BROWN needs to time it right - so he must know when the election is. Once he gets power again ( By postal votes ) then he will slash spending for all those who work - income tax will go up to 30% for the bottom rung and 45% for middle incomes and 50% for the rich. An extra 10p on fuel and ciggies and 50p on all alcohol ( they are already warming up for that one with stories about banning alcohol etc )

You can almost smell what is coming once the election is over.

Cameron will do the same. There is no choice for whoever gets in. It will be equally awful.

So ENJOY THE RECOVERY ( even if it is fake ) and get out there and hammer the credit and SPEND SPEND SPEND !!! Perhaps the bank to whom you owe the money might go under this time - meaning you dont need to pay it back LOL

I will rent out my bunker to Conspiracy Theorists who want somewhere to stay at a massive price. I am increasing my companies prices by 15% as well from next week in order to take care of this short lived boom.

Ignore the doomsayers ( Yes they are right but it is more fun going broke for a BUNDLE than a few pounds )
Get out and enjoy the RECOVERY. It has been organised by BROWN for us to enjoy. So lets pretend with him that everything is wonderful. There are advantages to being deluded.

What did DAY ONE Of the recovery feel like....

Not as good as I had hoped. The news actually started announcing that Vauxhall might shed loads of jobs - several big factories announced closure today as well - and nothing seems to have changed on my High Street.

Looking at retail sales of my businesses this week I cant see any real progress compared to this time last year either.

BUT I am hopeful and whilst balancing my champagne glass whilst trying to drum up some business on the phone I hope that tomorrow gets better.

Will report back. No offers for the Bunker yet - but I am sure that will all change soon.

well I'll certainly agree on one thing..champagne !! and I'm with Winston Churchill: "In victory we deserve it..in defeat we need it "

(ps:I just got my license back after a 3 month ban from over-indulging in a Veueve Clicquot party)
