VITAMIN D3 Important Information 14 Years, 7 Months ago
articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/arch...th-Risk-in-Kids.aspx

We keep hearing of deaths from Swine Flu from "underlying" causes.

It has now been shown that people who take presciption drugs such as anti-convulsants ( and many others ) deplete their D3 vitamins and research has shown that many of those who have died were defficient in VITAMIN D3.

I mentioned that my family and myself have stocked up on D3 for this winter as our first line of defence. If you google SOLGAR Vitamin D3 you can order stuff on-line if you dont have a decent Pharmacy near you.

We all seem to rely on the Government far too much for our health when eating healthy food and taking the occasional supplement like this when necessary can actually mean we can help ourselves. Oily fish like Sardines - Pilchards - Salmon are sources of Vitamin D3 as well if you dont like paying for supplements.

As with everything ask you doctor first about this if you are concerned. In the old days Cod liver Oil was the main supplement against flu and colds - and D3 is really only a version of fish oil. So it is a very natural way to protect yourself.

I am refusing to take a vaccine with no proven history of tests - so this is my way to remain healthy this Winter. I already eat oily fish and have so far not suffered with any flu in my life.

Well BR, my adoration for delicious (and cheap) mackerel, the most under estimated fish - is legendary.

Simply grill a line caught (important; much more flavour) mackerel - about 5 minutes each side - and serve with a knob of butter, wedge of lemon and sprig of coriander.

Magnificent.

Sounds yummy - and is exactly what we all need to be doing !

My local Pharmacy sold out of D3 again tonight and this is the third time in a week ! They are literally flying off the shelves as soon as they come in.

Word has spread around the internet about how important this is in relation to flu.

Iceland has a good offer on tinned tuna at the moment - and Marks and Spencers have some very cheap prices on their canned sardines - mackeril. Start at 79p per tin.

Would be fantastic if next spring we can all come back and post on here that we have all avoided the flu this Winter.

The older I get the more I realise how important I understand that a good diet really is - and these days everything we need is available - so there is no excuse !!! ( Sounding like a foodie fascist here - but I also like naughty food very much ! )
