We hear Sydney is covered in dust storms. Can you see your screen?

Just had a lovely e-mail from Larry Page the Teenage Rage, now living out there.

well I woke up this morning with a rather seedy hangover and having been warned a storm was on the way the night before.. looked out my windows which are very wide and high up...bright red sky..it's just like you see in pics of Mars (and the way I feel I could have been there !)

never seen anything like it..and my white car is literally red from the dust.

If nature gives signs then this is a BIG ONE.

Supposedly this is an unprecedented event.

Amazing pictures and must have been quite shocking for those venturing outside early.

If it starts happening elsewhere then I think we should be concerned

it proves one point..the Aboriginls have always been telling white men they have no idea of how to look after a land they have lived and survived on for 40,000 years and their European farming methods were dangerous.

Completely proven by this storm which is part climate change and part the wrecking of the top soil.

Some farmers always took the indigenous people at their word and did as they recommended....less yeild but always a yearly yeild even in a drought.
