Luxury hotels give free slippers to guests and many take them away with them when checking out. I always do and can now reveal the results of my tests wearing them all.
In third place; the Cavalieri Hilton which has special, very comfy black foam rubber thonged sandals which, unlike many, never chaff between the toes.
Second, the Meridien chain; the Royal Mansour in Casablanca gave me these; they are elasticated and thus fit every foot perfectly, snug and tight, never falling off.
And the best? The Beau Rivage in Lausanne, Switzerland - the soles are really thick and deep; incredibly comfortable and spring back into shape when not being worn.
