Re:Roman Polanski held in Switzerland 14 Years, 7 Months ago
Personally I thought it was a lot of waffle and found it quite bizarre the author used Nazi war criminals as an example when talking about a man whose mother died in Austwitch and who watched from under a bridge as his relatives were lined up a machine gunned by Nazi soldiers.
The problem is not that Polanski is free..it's the corruption of the LA police and judiciary.
Polanksi has said in the past that he would always go back and do the sentence that the plea bargain agreed upon but the judge and DA conspired against him.
Of all places-California courts are known for their corruption and DAs for their outright corrupt practices. They just cannot be trusted.
I'll look forward to the same writers piece on why war criminals like Tony Blair and George Bush are feted around the country when they are responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands of Iraqis.
I still predict with certainty-Polanksi will never go back to the USA.
