I think by then we'll be seeing recovery, people will have sussed Cameron, we will start to feel we could do worse than Brown'n'Mandy...

Heads in the sand at Bournemouth JK !!!

I would believe you if there was a chance that the economy would recover.

Sadly with an EXTRA MILLION to be added to the unemployment Q between now and May - and more infighting within New Labour unless there is a New War or Big Terror Attack - then Labour will come in third.

Today's speech was an admission that every policy BROWN has followed so far was wrong. YOu cant believe him on anything.

I am still waiting for the LISBON REFERENDUM that NEW LABOUR promised at the last election in their MANIFESTO !!!!

You may be able to forget the last four years but most of us cant.

MANDY will re-appear in a top job somewhere - the NWO will make sure of that. His speech yesterday was pure magic.

Labour wont win. The Tories are set well and their conference next week will show that they are ready to sort out the massive CUTS which are necessary - which BROWN never mentioned. funny that !!!

Do you really think so, JK?

Agreed, Labour have had a good conference with very able speeches by Mandelson and Brown, but I have a hunch Labour are too far gone to save themselves now. Add to that the difficulty of winning a fourth term.

It does look like we are in for a very interesting 6 months or so in politics.

I'd like to think the British people were too intelligent to fall for a few well composed speeches. These are just words, and talk is cheap. However, our history tells us different.

Brown and his cronies talk of economic recovery and how people will soon be better off, but they continue to diminish our freedoms and push for ID Cards, DNA databases, control and monitor of our every movement, interception of our mail and phone calls. They also still preside over a questionable war and a corrupt legal system. Has the promise of more money blinded us to all else?

Labour are tired and even this conference couldn't ignite them. Brown gave a good speech, but, however likeable he is, he's not the right man for the job - and Mandy isn't any better - In his case he may be capable, but sleaze is too close to the surface for him!

Cameron is capable, but needs to reduce the "I'm a flash git" image. BUT his equivalent of Mandy is his best asset - WILLIAM HAGUE. I'd love him to be leader, but I'll go with a party where he has influence.

The Brown-Noser started yesterday's speech by reeling off a list of achievements - but he forgot a few !

Like the almost continual war since they came to power !

He never mentioned Afghanistan - ongoing - and now having lasted longer than WW2 !

He never mentioned Iraq - ongoing, even though we have run like hell !

He never mentioned the "build-up" to the war against Iran (at the behest of the Yankers / Jews).

He mentioned a few "home" policies -

Apparently the Councils will be given powers to curn 24 hour drinking (but Brown-Noser forgot to mention who actually instigated 24 hour drinking in the first place !)

He can (allegedly) be trusted to get us out of the recession (as long as no one remembers that it was him (and his little Darling) than de-regulated and allowed the banks to run wild in the first place. The Brown-Noser was in total charge of the economy throughout the period - but apparently never saw the collapse coming.

The commentators have mentioned the half-empty conference halls, and the fact that the party activists are all but suicidal.

The Sun has now come out in favour of the Tories (a bitter body blow to NuLabour) - but a Tory victory is far from assured. I believe that with a little tactical voting the Tories will win the next election but the three parties will be closer than ever before - allowing (in fact making) a degree of concensus the only option.

I think The Sun changing to the Tories makes a Labour victory inevitable.

Times have changed, Flame Mitchell, and you have no idea how much.

The Suns readers were the only ones left who were interested in voting for New Labour.

Sadly for BROWN having the biggest daily newspaper againat him will mean that even with the support of the Guardian ( ? ) he wont be able to win with the whole media turning against him.

Only the BBC is now out and out LABOUR - and I do hope that they re-consider that position and start telling the facts about everything. Not least the VACCINE situation.

I dont read the Sun - but millions do with their tea. Most of those if they vote probably dont read or watch anything else. This is a massive boost for CAMERON - not that he needed it being 20 points ahead.

It is now looking likely New Labour will be in third place in England.
