This is what passes for journalism today. A sweeping statement that is utterly baseless and can only be the opinion of the writer who presumes to speak for the entire French nation.
utter bullshit and crap and if whoever wrote it believes the French will adopt Britain's fucked-up tabloid mentality..then bring on the collapse of the print media.
Not only will Mitterand retain his position but no French politician-from the left or right despite their huffing and puffing will want it any other way.
Whatever one thinks about prostitution -and they are entitled to think anything they want-people mis-judge the Thai nation with appalling racist claptrap. Despite America and western nations like Britain and Australia attempting to impose their moral viewpoints on the country, the Thai people get very stubborn and will not change something that has been a part of their culture for hundred of years..an absence of guilt about sex and selling it.
