Shocking footage of 14 y.o. girl beaten by bullies 14 Years, 7 Months ago
www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1219232...posted-Facebook.html

There are countless videos like this all over the internet now. There are even websites devoted to the genre of 'schoolgirl cat fights' that get millions of visitors and make thousands of dollars from advertising and yet clearly and explicitly encourage bullying and child abuse by posting these videos.

So where are the NSPCC and the other children's charities? Why isn't UNICEF holding conferences and bringing forth legislation against these sites? You are a pedo and will go to prison for 6 months for looking at a beautiful picture of a 19 year old 'child' in swimming trunks (this actually happened in Austria last year), yet websites can make millions from showing (and encouraging) the horrific bullying of young girls for entertainment?

As JK said, there is something seriously sick with the human race.

Just shows how low we have sunk.If it's not sexual abuse we don't want to know.

Does this kind of activity have anything to do with websites? I'm quite sure that kids have being beating each other up since the begining of time.

Angel is right...kids have been decking each other for yonks.I was a tough bastard when provoked..but I've been saying it for years and about given up.

Child abuse is now rampant in western countries but it only ever receives attention if it's sexual which gives an indication of a very sick society. The Baby Ps of the world are the norm..just only get headlines when one actually dies. Very sad.

Well, you could say the same thing about child sexual abuse. The reason why we have such draconian laws against the simple viewing of child porn is because of the assumption that doing so promotes and encourages the production of such images - even where no abuse is present, i.e. a young person posing in a bikini or underwear.

Yet it is entirely legal for websites (and there are hundreds of them) to make money from showing girls as young as 11 or 12 being bullied, beaten and humiliated. And it is quite stupid to claim that the added thrill of being able to post these videos for thosands to watch does not play an incentive in the bullying itself - as well as adding to the distress and humiliation of the victim.

I have only seen the NSPCC comment once on this subject, and that was probably because the Daily Mail had asked for their opinion. I have a yet to see any children's charity campaign against these websites. No sex - no donations from good old joe public it seems.

I'm rather dissapointed if you can't see any moral discrepency here.

With regards to moral discrepency, what do you suggest? Close down Youtube, Facebook etc? We live in a world where information is in abundance through the internet. Its a sad fact that bullying exists, but society can be full of negatives. When you start to Police the internet for things we'd rather not see or hear about, then society and free speech are doomed.
