TOPIC: I love Jo Brand
#50449
I love Jo Brand 14 Years, 6 Months ago
Any other fans here? Most seem to hate her; I think she's hilarious.

Michel Roux on Sat Kitchen; I knew him when he was about 4 and I was his Dad's best (and first) Gavroche customer in the 60s.

I love Jo Brand myself- wonderfully self-deprecating and spot on with her humour.

My uncle was a fan of Jo Brand, but she does absolutely nothing for me.

There are few female comedians who match up to the best male ones, for a reason I cannot put my finger on, but Jo Brand is definitely up there with the best of them. I'm a big fan.

I adore her..perhaps (for me) Britain's most funny comedienne.

She was recently in Sydney and told one of her deadpan jokes (probably for the umpteenth time)on being overweight, of how she went to a supermarket with the family and how annoying it was the trolley filled up with lollies, ice creams and such..and then "the bloody kids wanted some as well "

Her face was a picture - sitting next to Katie Price on Graham Norton. She looked distinctly uncomfortable and disapproving but being a comedienne did her best to cover up her opinion.
