The Whybirds debut album was one of my fave albums of 2008.

They are following it up with COLD BLUE SKY which is released on November 9th. Have not heard much of it yet but some of the songs have been posted produced by ELIOT MOZER ( Of Neil Young etc fame ) and are very tasty.

The band launch the album at the RELENTLESS GARAGE on Saturday November 7th to which I will be heading down to catch the live show and try and get a copy of the album.

The band are stunning live and probably the best UK rock /alt country band EVER. No gimmicks just really crafted rocking songs that Neil Young - Springsteen - The Byrds would be proud to have written. They are from BEDFORD !!!!

If you have to see one gig this year then make it this one. You wont be disappointed if you like your rock with a tinge of Americana.
