Congratulations to Beth Tweddle who won the world gymnastics championships (floor exercise). She is the most successfull British Gymnast ever and even at 24 much older than the other girls. Also shes a very nice down to earth girl from the Liverpool area. She doesn't get the publicity she deserves and no doubt all those overpaid f1 drivers will be grabbing all the sports headlines driving for their big corporate car companies.

Just saw her winning session - fantastic!

Very little news coverage for Miss Tweddle despite winning a sport where athleticism and skill are essential whereas Jenson Button gets massive news coverage for driving a car, which is faster than everbody elses car. Wheres the justice, I thought we were trying to move away from glamourising high powered cars (global warming etc!).
