although this sounds like a new court-the system of law has been there and it routinely caused havoc in people's lives.
JK probably knew
Kit Lambert who discovered
The Who and produced their early highly successful albums.
At his peak Lambert lived in a Knighstbridge mansion with a palace in Venice. When he became addicted to drugs and he got busted once-he was persuaded to go under court "protection" like this to avoid jail.
From then he lived in a series of cheap hotels as money was doled out at a public servant's wishes, deciding what he should and shouldn't have. Lambert died in 1983 but his estate was worth a small fortune-the last 7/8 years he had lived like a pauper. Today he would have been worth a fortune with the music he produced being used in hit US TV shows.
It's just another example of Labour refining what was already there to control people's lives.
We'll all be Soylent Green one day !
