I understand that an enhanced CRB check includes all crimes that you may have been accused of as well as mere suspicions about you, even if no action has been taken. This being the case, would an enhanced background check of Tony Blair show that he has been accused of crimes against humanity? And would that mere accusation prevent him from getting a job of high responsibility? Would an enhanced background check of Gordon Brown, and several other government ministers, show them as possible accomplices?

If laws are truly applied equally to all of us, then we should be seeing many of the nation's top people being disqualified from their jobs.

If I want to sell ice cream in my local park during summer, I need an enhanced CRB check. Surely people who govern the country should go through nothing less.

I think a CAMPAIGN FOR CRB CHECKS FOR POLITICIANS and their aides - in the run up to next year's election.

Then we can see loads of them being disqualified on the grounds you say.

Would be funny to see them have to announce that BROWN cant go into playgrounds or schools because he has failed his ENHANCED CRB check because he has been accused of being an accomplice to mass murder. LOL.
