Murdoch's desperate attempts to control the internet now see him wanting his content removed from google which he reckons steals his product.

Son and heir James wants the BBC curbed..something to remember if Cameron wins power..don't think these guys won't extract pay-back for their support.

No wonder elder son Lachlan left the family business a few years ago. Disaster is looming for News Corp.

The BBC does need to be curbed.

There are many people who are upset by it effecting their businesses. They get a tax and offer a free service and undercut many others.

In addition they have a highly suspect Left Wing World View - which means that people like Carol Thatcher etc are thrown out if they disagree with this view.

The BBC is still a great producer of TV and drama. Its news coverage is totally biased though - and impartiality needs to be restored.

In addition they need to curb the BBC commerical activities.

Murdoch was unstoppable till a few years ago,now he's lost the plot.

The net is not real life,and removing google and co from listing his stuff will just mean lots of people won't even know he's there....actually not a bad idea at all:laugh:

Murdoch has now said in an interview on Oz TV (on his own station Sky) that Barack Obama is a racist.

He's really courting danger here. It's a plainly ridiculous accusation and Obama is surrounded by very powerful forces. You don't get to be president without them.

Murdoch's second in command for about 15 years, Peter Cherney has retired and given interviews to a biog of Murdoch. He describes the Murdoch heirs as "the cretins"..the word used by those high up in News Ltd for them.

He also described how the Chinese took $50M off Murdoch in a blatant scam The Chinese are the snobbiest people on this planet and the most class consious despite Communism. Cheney described how at a meeting party officals said "here is the silly old fool that married that woman" (poor Wendy Murdoch comes from a part of China viewed as inferior). Murdoch's translator was too frightened to correctly translate as the Communists mocked Murdoch for an hour.

Some people should retire gracefully when they are ahead..
