TOPIC: Hung Parliament?

Hung Parliament? 14 Years, 5 Months ago
I quite like the idea of this.
Can't stand smarmy Cameron, a slicker Blair.
Don't like Brown - part of discredited New Labour.
Not keen on Cleggy either but I may vote Lib Dem to get a hung Parliament.

Excellent piece in Times today by Daniel Finkelstein...

One of the great advantages of a hung Parliament - It's a GREAT story!

A "hung" Parliament would be a good thing imo - at least we may get some debate and concensus, and it would be better than the dictatorship iof the B-Liar years.

Sad to say I wish I could agree with you. Before the CRASH I would have.....but now if we dont have a strong Government our country could collapse economically as well if there is a hung parliament.

At the moment we have a TRIPLE A economic rating in World Markets ( this means we can borrow money cheaply as a country and our debt is run at the lowest price )

If we get a HUNG PARLIAMENT there is already rumbling that this rating would turn into a AAB rating - which immediately would add BILLIONS of new tax costs onto us the taxpayers. This would mean things getting even worse for ordinary people.

Therefore, I cant see any option except the SLIMY CAMERON. He is the least of the two evils. He needs a chance to see if just a change at the top can kick start the UK economy because it is still going under.

I have voted Lib Dem many times - but by doing so I have let Labour in. This time I have decided that although I dislike our Tory candidate - I will vote TORY because I cant see any other option. Another year of economic chaos will put the few of us left in music out of work. We are all hanging on by a thread.

Read RotD to see the carnage as venues close and even the PRS is now on the rocks and loads are losing their jobs there....read Tipsheet to see the majors are about to cull the few remaining staff.........only X FACTOR is selling anything in both the recorded and live sectors. For the rest of the industry it is over unless we get a change at the top.

Don't know about a 'hung parliament',but I'd sure like to 'Hang Parliament' especially those greedy ones who refuse to acknowledge cheating expenses is theft, and laugh in our tax paying faces as a result.

Some Lib Dems have admitted that if there is a hung parliament they will refuse to help form a coalition government and force yet another election. Not good for the country really.
