A Christmas Carol in 3D at the IMAX 14 Years, 5 Months ago
First time I have ever been to see a 3D film and on the massive IMAX screen.

I have to say I was very very impressed. It almost felt like it was snowing around you ! and the sound system is truly titanic.

This is the best and very faithful A CHRISTMAS CAROL as well. Jim Carey sometimes has a bit of Steptoe and sometimes Victor Meldrew about him as SCROOGE and is brilliant. The GHOST scenes are tremendous and in 3D are truly spectacular.

The film is showing up until Christmas at the IMAX and if you want a big comfy seat select ROW L and above for true luxury. They have 4 showings a day but already some are sold out and it is easy to book on-line on their site.

Superb film - and dont believe the lukewarm reviews by some of the press. The cinema applauded at the end of the film - which is always a good sign that a film has hit the sweet spot.

I would say treat yourself to a 3D version and call in on the GERMAN MARKET on the Southbank before or after for some German food and drink and a real Christmassy atmosphere.

In this time of gloom this is a fantastic way to lift the spirits

I love Christmas !

Some of the accents in the film are very dubious, but it is very good, and certainly the best 3D imaging I've seen yet.
