Enhanced checks were to be for teachers only.....that is what NEW LABOUR claimed when introducing this unpopular and expensive tax on working with children full time.

The CRB ENHANCED CHECK is now spreading - soon to be in a cinema or a park ( happening already in Watford ) attend a Carol concerty ( happening already ) and now even entering a school building on ANY business you will need a CRB ENHANCED check.

Anyone who votes for NEW LABOUR has to be totally off their trolley.

We need the CRB ENHANCED check to be used ONLY for those who work with children full time. That is the only way it is fair and proportionate.

The CRB check company has links to FUNDING New Labour - and this is really about PROFITS for them.

ADULTS and KIDS already are at each other's throats on the streets of many towns. This will only make things worse. ASBOs have failed - there are few people left who will work with children because of these CRB checks and the suspicion that if you work with kids you must be a PAEDO. So no activities are being offered in many areas for kids.......so they roam the streets terrorising adults......

NEW LABOUR has destroyed the UK as a decent country.

the TORIES must get rid of CRB checks for all but those working full time and reverse these crazy ideas.

Hey clueless wonder, fancy talking about something you know about for a change? It is up to the organisation's (say, a school) jurisdiction who undergoes a CRB check within themselves if there is no direct contact with children. Most organisations are playing it safe by having all and sundry checked. This is NOT a Government led imposition. Of course, I wouldn't expect you to bother with the real story.

1. The CRB checks were introduced by New Labour.

2. New Labour said they would only ever be used for people having daily contact or regular contact with children - especially the ENHANCED check which was designed mainly for teachers.

3. Each check makes a £30 profit for the company who "own" this New Labour franchise.

4. The expansion of the checks is allowed by New Labour who did not specify what the checks could be used for in the legislation.

5. New Labour likewise have INTENTIONALLY left our any real guidance for the NEW AGENCY checks on people working with children.

6. With the NEW LICENCE it means New Labour have TWO checking systems. Each one very profitable both for the agency AND the Government.

7. For a person who works ith children - helps with their local church - runs a sports club - etc. they need an NEW CHECK every time they start. This has already led to some people holding 10+ CRB check certificates. In the future this could double with the NEW license to 20 or more.

If you call me clueless over this I suggest you read the legislation - and see how these "checks" are being used. It is a massive TAX on working with children - but not only that the ENHANCED CRB checks mean that discipline has all but collapsed in the SINK SCHOOLS of the UK where kids KNOW they can make an allegation about a teacher / carer etc. and it will appear on their "enhanced" CRB - and this information may never even be disclosed to the person applying for the CRB check !!! and it could kill their career ( with no right of reply or correcting the mis-information )

This is a NEW LABOUR policy - created in NUMBER 10 - and the more they can suggest that people insist on these checks the more the KERCHING for the tax body.

This is a massive STEALTH TAX - and a method of being able to ruin someone's career if they dont vote for you ( as has happened in many cases as far as I am aware )

I hope that clearly explains the problems of the CRB check for you and the new license. It is PAEDO HYSTERIA out of control - and being used to make money. Very cynical Government initiative. No one could apply this CHECK unless the legislation supported it.
