2000-2010 What an appalling decade. 14 Years, 4 Months ago
Certainly for me it was a ghastly ten years except for the many silver linings that made the most terrible events bring understanding, tolerance, patience and wisdom.

Worst of all for me was my beloved Mum dying at 91 in 2007.

But I genuinely believe it also marked the beginning of the end for our species.

I do not think the human race will make it to 2050. If it does, and if I do, I shall be 106.

Will you still need me,will you still love me,when I'm 106?

At least you've got more to look forward to this decade JK,and good luck to you.

Happy new year

Dreadful decade for so many reasons. Not just personally for most people but for the human race.

I agree with JK - we need to move forward as a species or we will not make 2050. Global Warming is far from the problem - it is human greed and hate allied to techology and weaponry which is undermining our spirit and souls. We are literally collapsing from WITHIN as a society.

Thanks to the ever increasing rate of technological progress the next fifty years will see more change than the previous 1,000. In the unlikely event we survive, of course.

And if JK is alive to be 106 he will almost certainly look and feel 18 again - if he wants to (google 'Aubrey de Grey' or 'Ray Kurzweil').

This decade was terrible, but nobody can predict what is around the corner.

I do so hope JK lives well into his hundreds, as without him and his kind we simply wont know just what's really going on. The biggest nightmare for me is to start believing what I'm told and doing what I'm told. As the huddled masses do.

But after death JK has already left us much...Vile Pervert The Musical for one.

Hopefully enough time left for Vile Pervert 2: 'Just when you thought he'd keep quiet'!

The names may change but the "plot" remains the same.

For HITLER and MUSSOLINI - substitute BUSH and BLAIR
For the JEWS substitute THE MUSLIMS
For Liebenstraum substitute the War on Terror

I agree - no better in 2009 than we were in 1939.

What makes it worse is that many people cant even see that.......

An extremely boring decade musically on top of everything. Very little has stuck in my mind. Makes the eighties seem like the sixties!
