vomit inducing piece in the Daily Mail 14 Years, 3 Months ago

So Jackie Collins was 'seduced' by Marlon Brando when she was 15 and he 29 !

Fine-OK by me and if it helps flogs Jackie's books I say go for it.

Brando's sexual appetites were legendary-no man woman girl or boy was safe around him. He had affairs with everyone from Marilyn Monroe to James Dean. He was kicked out his expensive male boarding school (he always pretended he was working class)for organising an orgy with fellow students.

The greatest love of his life was the handsome French actor Jean Marais whose death in 1998 sent Brando into a year long depression.

But where's the pedophile outrage over Jackie's comments ?..where are the self appointed 'child protectors' spewing forth ?

It's clearly a puff piece for Collins and the writers presents it just like a press release.

Perhaps the State they were in had a low age of consent - as per the State where Jerry Lee Lewis married his 13yr old cousin.

I don't recall any condemnation of Bill Wyman either, when he had a 13yr old girlfriend. Most papers seemed to think it was just a cute piece of celebrity tittle tattle at the time.

But, yes, if a woman has a book out there is nothing more likely to boost sales than a claim of being the victim of rape or child abuse.

I was wondering something similar when the "news" about CBB housemate Sisqo having a baby with a 14 year-old girl came out this week, too...

Surely he should now be arrested and given 6 years in jail ?

It seems the "Illuminati" pick their celebrity targets intentionally.

If that had been Gary Glitter we would have been seeing front page outrage about this.

The double standards by the media are breath-taking.

Actually the story was running on the Daily Mail homepage the same day they featured the headline that former UN weapons inspector Scott Ritter was 'busted' for online kiddie sex.

www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/artic...nline-sex-sting.html

In fact, from how it is described in this and other news reports, he was masturbating on webcam to a 'girl' he had met in a chatroom, who was in fact an undercover cop, and as soon as 'the girl' told him she was 'only 15', he switched off because 'he didn't want to get into trouble'.

So now he faces 10 years in jail for masturbating on cam to an undercover cop who was pretending to be a 15 year old girl but who he had believed to be over 18 (or why else switch off when 'she' told him?)

And yet Brando's stud status is only more confirmed for actually bedding a 15 year old girl.

Crazy world.

Don't get me wrong..I love both Jackie and Joan Collins who I reckon have great personalitie and have turned what little talent they have into money-spinners.

But Jackie's whole-heartedly boasting about this which is all fine by me. But if she were on the local council. a newsagent , bus driver etc etc she would have had to have said was 'raped' by Brando.. otherwise the condemnation on appearing to condone her affair ... she would be destroyed by the tabloids.

Double standards all round.

thanks for drawing my attention to the Ritter case.

I know the former head of the UN inspections team Richard Butler who now lives quietly in Tasmania.

Saddam threatened to kill him at the time. I once saw him in Sydney in a bar just after he had resigned and tapped him on the shoulder...he jumped about 6 feet in the air.

He said he got out as he was sure he would die in an 'accident' or other..and when I said Saddam Hussein ?..he replied.."either side "
