Nice selection as usual JK. The "movie style lighting" one is particularly striking.

of course I'm insanely jealous...I love Morroco.

But I can't help noticing that no-one was actually using those lovely swimming pools ??

In many cases, Veritas, there weren't many swimming. It was not that hot - I swam every day and noticed that several other elderly people did too - plus little kids! The two extremes. One lot for health - the other for pleasure!

But it rained on and off quite a lot; I love North Africa because you get two hours of torrential rain followed by glorious sunshine and everything clears up within minutes, so even though there would be showers, they were followed by blue skies and about 28 degree heat.

But of course, you were the exception there, JK, sitting nicely in between the two extremes, in your prime.

Funnily enough you're right Anthony - most of the oldsters seemed to do the required lengths and then get out in relief, whilst the kiddies splashed and played simply for fun. I kept on going because not only was it very good for me but I absolutely love swimming and would do it all day if I could (and, strangely, probably could; it's only slow, relaxed breast stroke and I never seem to tire).
